Thank you to all our customers for another great year at Olinda. When we look back at 2016, we can’t help but be grateful for all the delicious experiences that came our way.
One of the best parts of our business is tasting all the new ways Chefs use our olives and olive oil. Several times this year, we were one of the secret ingredients at the Competition Dining Series in North Carolina. The innovative uses were very impressive – and we never expected to see our olives used in so many desserts. Inspired by this competition, we launched the Olinda Blog so we could share some of their amazing recipes with you all. As you know, our distribution partners are an important part of our business. They’re more than just customers, they also host informative food shows and sponsor cooking events across the country. So we were excited to participate in several events this year with our partners including the Competition Dining Series, Taste Creation in Nashville and the Chef’s Potluck at Middleton Place, among many others. If you’re following us on Instagram, you’ve been a part of Joey’s delicious travels. As our business development manager, Joey was frequently on the road in 2016. He ate his way through Lambstock in Virginia, helped man the grills backstage at the Cincinnati Food and Wine Classic and embraced new beverage trends at BevCon in Charleston, SC. He’ll be keeping it up in the new year as well, checking on our Chefs participating in our green olive Fermentation Project. We’re looking forward to tasting the results.
